Licensed Educational Psychologist #3325
As a school psychologist in a high performing district, I know that starting middle school is perhaps the most difficult transition a child makes. Often, our children are not equipped with the skills necessary to navigate different classes, teachers, and expectations. Added to the change in friendships and social difficulties many middle school students face, and they are set up for a bumpy ride.
My passion is to give students the skills to navigate middle school successfully. These skills serve them not only during 6-8th grade, but throughout high school, college, and beyond. I am skilled in educational assessments and am convienently located in Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, El Segundo, Torrance, Santa Monica, Westwood, Century City, and Beverly Hills.educational assessment redondo beach
In addition to my work as a preschool through 8th grade school psychologist over the past 9 years, I have taught study skills and reading comprehension workshops to students age ten through sixty privately and at Universities throughout Southern California (USD, UCI, CSUB, and UCSD) for over 15 years. I am on the part-time faculty at Loyola Marymount University in the School Psychology department teaching assessment, behavioral interventions, and psychoeducational report writing skills. I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Southern California (class of 2016) studying Educational Psychology.
Most importantly I am the parent of two young children. I understand how challenging and rewarding raising children can be and am here to help!
